Yes, I finally defeated the Lindens. I discovered a way to move the location of the settings and cache folders, and Second Life is none the wiser.
By making the move I did, the cache for Second Life is now on a faster, newer hard drive and not cluttering up the space on my older, slower drive.
If enough people show interest, I’ll explain the methodology, but I will warn that there is a touch of danger involved.
